Below are answers to the most frequently asked questions about our offerings.
What Does Peak Proposals Offer?
This site is maintained as a free educational resource library for grant seekers, proposal writers, and nonprofit professionals.
Does Peak Proposals Provide Grant Funding?
Peak Proposals does not provide grant funding or financing. Through our website, we provide educational resources to help nonprofit organizations learn how to research funding sources, write grant proposals, and manage the proposal process. We offer information and training through our blog and other resources.
Does Peak Proposals Connect Organizations with Funders?
Peak Proposals does not connect organizations with potential funders or submit proposals on their behalf. However, we have several blog posts that discuss how to foster partnerships and connect with funders, including:
Will Peak Proposals Write Grant Proposals for Me?
Peak Proposals is not a grant writing service. We do not write grant proposals on a volunteer or paid basis. We also do not have the capacity to review draft grant proposals and provide feedback. Our goal is to help nonprofit organizations learn how to write and evaluate their own grant proposals. For tips on writing a grant proposal, we suggest you review our extensive collection of blog posts on proposal development.
Will Peak Proposals Tell Me Which Funders I Should Apply to?
Peak Proposals does not have the capacity to conduct funder research on behalf of individual organizations. Through our website, we aim to provide organizations with resources and tools to research potential funding sources. If you are seeking funding for your organization, we recommend that you review our blog posts for guidance on researching relevant funding sources.
Will Peak Proposals Partner with My Organization to Pursue Funding?
Peak Proposals does not partner with organizations, businesses, or entrepreneurial ventures. Our mission is to provide nonprofit organizations with information, resources, and tools to improve their grant-seeking and writing skills.
What Happened to the Funder Lists on Your Website?
Unfortunately, we have had to remove the regional funding lists from our website. Based on feedback from foundations, we found that many visitors to our website were not reading the funders’ eligibility guidelines, and as a result, foundations were flooded with applications from ineligible organizations.
To stay abreast of grant opportunities and their eligibility requirements—which often include geographic restrictions—we suggest you subscribe to a grantmaker database.
My Organization Needs Help. Will Peak Proposals Send Us Money?
Peak Proposals does not respond to donation requests. As part of our current giving strategy, we donate to several local, national, and international organizations. We do not donate to organizations outside this pre-selected group.
